This week we have continued out Horrible Histories topic. Some of us visited the library to see what information we could find about the Iron Age. We looked at the different foods they ate, the clothes they wore and what sort of houses they lived in. It was very different to the way we live now. We all agreed that we would much rather live in our times now and we would not like to go back to the Iron Ages.

In Art we have continued with our Egyptian theme. We learnt that King Tut’s mask was originally made from 22lbs of gold!! WOW! Then it was time to have a go at drawing the mask of King Tut. We have some fantastic artists in 8A! 

 

In PSHE we have been learning about human development and have been looking at the stages of growing up. Mrs Lane created a quiz for us with lots of photos of learners and staff as babies through to teenagers. We had different challenges such as guess who the photo was, put the photos in age order and lots of tricky questions to answer. We had lots of competitive fun, but there could only be one winner! HUGE well done to Jake, you smashed it!!!
