This week in Rowan class we have been super busy!! On. On Monday morning we have done sensory circuits in the hall for PE with Chorley Sports Partnership, we have been practising our skills of climbing, balancing, throwing and catching. Then in the afternoon on Monday, we have done food tech where we’d have been practising our chopping skills and chopping up some apples and pears which we then enjoyed as a healthy snack. We also practised mixing ingredients (flour, salt, water) to make play dough. On Tuesday morning we have been doing drama, we have been re-enacting the story Cinderella as part of our topic Fairytales this half term. We watch a video of Cinderella changing from cleaning outfit to a princess going to the ball. Then we tried on different outfits for Cinderella when cleans and then Cinderella as a princess and then outfits for Prince Charming too. Then in the afternoon we did some super number work and singing counting songs (10 green bottles, 5 current buns, etc). On Wednesday we did have been reading the sensory story Goldilocks, everyone listened and joined in really well. Then in the afternoon we have been starting to learn how rouse puppet pals, the first step is to practice taking pictures on the iPad with the help of a teacher. On Thursday, we have done lots of reading, jolly phonics and sensory circuits this morning and then this afternoon we have been doing structured games to help us with our turn taking and sharing, this afternoon we played bowling. On Friday we did a Goldilocks themed Attention Autism session in the morning where we did stamping bears in paint and then made our own bears at the table. Then this after we have sung songs during a rhyme bag time and then had a short amount of choose time.
