What a fantastic start to the new year we have had in 8P.
We have been very busy in 8P over the last two weeks.
In my communication we have been looking at writing captions based on different photos that are all based on healthy lifestyles.
In my thinking and problem solving we have been looking at number problems. Adding and subtracting reading word problems and exploring numbers to 5 in a variety of ways. They have all work really hard on these.
We have also been looking at time.
We have played games on time, matching the times and drawing our own clock faces with times on o’clock and half past times. All of the learners have worked incredibly hard in these lessons and making great progress.
In my creativity we have been looking at body positions and drawing our own stick figures and creating our own sculptures. We have also been looking at designing our own photo frames. We have looked at different designed and decided what materials we would need to make our own.
Today we enjoyed a lovely treat at dinner time with Mr Welsh and the top table. We enjoyed a variety of hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows and a choice of juices.
