It’s been another fantastic week in 7P, one full of learning and fun as well as further proof that we are a wonderful class!
We began the week with reading on Monday morning, and in the afternoon we used paint, cars, letters and paintbrushes to practice our mark making skills.
On Tuesday morning we had Miss Troughton for Art, and we looked at different facial features as well as recognising which facial feature is which. We then traced some images on tracing paper and discussed the different features. We had a lesson on Time on Tuesday Afternoon, and we had a great time whilst looking at Time. We looked at the clock and labelled the different times and numbers on the clock.
Wednesday morning was P.E and we continued to work hard on our Gymnastic skills before doing a phonics lesson in class, and in the afternoon we looked at the differences between our bodies as well as talking about the importance of rest, and we completed sensory circuits in class.
Some of us went swimming on Thursday morning, and the rest of class did Food Tech. Those who went swimming worked hard, as did those who remained in school for Food Tech. In the afternoon we had phonics, reading and writing, and each of us worked hard with some of us using pens instead of pencils to practice our writing!
On Friday morning we continued our work on phonics and time, and in the afternoon we had some well deserved Golden Time with some of us going to the brand new Key Stage 3 Choir!
Our Star Of The Week this week is Mo! Mo has recently moved from packed lunches to school dinners and has coped brilliantly with the change as well as trying new foods! Well done Mo, we’re all very proud of you!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, and we’ll see you on Monday!
