We’ve had a great time in 7P this week learning about Time!

Our learners have enjoyed playing Time themed games on the Interactive Whiteboard where we have demonstrated our knowledge of time in a supportive environment with our friends cheering us on, and helping us to learn more.

In our outdoor area, and at playtimes, we’ve enjoyed games of “What Time Is It, Mr Wolf?” during which our learners have been able to practice and demonstrate their knowledge of numbers and counting as well as simply having fun with each other.

In class we’ve made clocks, and shown that we know where each number goes on the clock as well as using these clocks that we’ve made on our tables to show different times as we manually moved the big and little hands to the different positions to show times.

We’ve also followed timed instructions, counting in second and minutes to complete different activities, and have followed the times on our class timetable using the clocks in the classroom to help us know when it is time for different lessons and activities.

All of our learners have looked at “O’Clock” with some going on to look at “Half Past”, “Quarter Past” and “Quarter To”. Some have even worked on “Five Past”, “Ten Past” and so on.

We hope you enjoy looking at our photos of us learning about time.
