On Monday morning, we came in and had a nice, relaxing start to the day before beginning our learning. We took part in a See and Learn session, where we looked at different words, tried to recognise them, and then practised signing each one. After break, we made Valentine’s cards using a variety of designs for our friends and family. After lunch, we had some quiet time before our PE lesson, where we took part in a fun Zumba session.

On Tuesday we celebrated internet safety day  we made a puppet pals video, explaining the importance of internet safety. We all worked well together to make this video  

On Wednesday, we had a special visitor from the police department come in and speak to us about being safe in the community and how the police can keep us safe. We all asked some great questions and some of us got to try the policeman’s hat on. In the afternoon, we carried on with our KS4 options. 

On Thursday, we visited Eco‑Town in Leyland. It was really interesting to learn about how they recycle materials, support the community, and manage waste. They also showed us what happens to the rubbish that can’t be recycled and showed us the different machines they use. We even got to try on the uniforms and learnt why staff wear different types depending on their job.
