This week Willow learnt all about how we can stay safe on different games and websites when we are on our computers and iPads!
We discussed what information we could share on the internet (e.g. a cartoon avatar and code name on a game) and what information we only tell friends and family. We sorted types of information into categories that are safe to share or that we only tell friends and family.
We all shared what apps and games we play on and how important it is to tell adults at home what we look at on the internet and to talk to an adult if we ever get a message from a stranger. We spoke about how important it is to talk to an adult if you see something that gives you a funny feeling in your tummy or that you don’t like, and that your adult will always be happy that you told them.
We chose our top tips to tell other children to keep them safe on the internet and created posters. Then, we finished off with a class quiz to see what we had learnt.
All staff were very happy to hear how safe our pupils are when they are using the internet and what sensible choices they make!
