Hi everybody,
Well done for another week learning from home! This week we have learnt about Mary Anning, a palaeontologist who is famous for discovering dinosaur fossils! What a cool job! We have researched Mary Anning and produced fact files using Purple Mash this week. Take a look at some of our work below!
To develop our maths and problem solving skills we have been looking at fractions, focusing on halves and quarters. We’ve worked hard and will keep practicing our understanding of fractions over the coming weeks.
The weather has mostly been nice this week so, as you can see from our photos, we have been out and about for more walks. Jenny even ventured to Blackpool! Wow! Emily joined in with a hip hop class on Zoom and Tyler has been baking again! Mrs Crouch would also like to say a special “thank you” to Chloe for sending her a lovely postcard for teacher appreciation day this week - you are very kind!
Next week is half term so make sure you have a fun week and send us some photos to show us what you get up to. I challenge 7R to use 2Blog or 2Email on Purple Mash to share their holiday news!
Take care and stay safe everyone,
Mrs Crouch
