Hello everyone, apologies for the delay with our blog! Last week was another very busy week in 7A. On Monday we began learning about the story of Hanukkah as part of our celebration topic (as excited as we all are for Christmas, we decided November was still a little bit early to start our Christmas activities!).
This was a story that was new to most of us and even the 7A staff learnt something new!
On Tuesday we put our knowledge of the story of Hanukkah to the test and began preparing for something exciting to show everyone for our Sharing our Learning session on Wednesday afternoon. I don't want to give too much away but let's just say it involved our iPads, the green screen and lots of laughing in class!
In the afternoons at the beginning of the week, we used our creative skills to design and paint candles for our Hanukkah display in class. On Thursday, Mrs Crouch led a very energetic Me and My Body session outside involving football skills. We have A LOT of football fans in 7A so it was brilliant to see everyone joining in and trying their hardest to improve their football skills.
On Friday morning 7A were practicing their subtraction skills in My Thinking and Problem Solving again, then in the afternoon it was golden time, climbing frame and finally star of the week assembly. A massive congratulations to 7A’s star of the week this week... Daniel! Well done Daniel!
