This half term in school we have been learning about Sadaqah, a core value in Islam all about 'kindness'. For Maple class, this means that we have been working on our sharing and turn-taking, being kind to one another.
To practice our sharing and turn-taking, the class joined in with a sensory walk. We were all super excited to take our shoes and socks off before taking turns to walk through the Goldilocks sensory walk. We all followed the turn-taking board and waited very patiently for our turns, sharing the sensory trays as a class. We had great fun and all agreed that the crunchy cornflakes were our favourite! Everyone had a turn and watched their friends taking their turn. We were all brave and had great fun feeling the different textures on our feet.
