11R thoroughly enjoyed their work on Islam this week. They were introduced to the Islamic tradition of Sadaqah, which is about kindness. We learnt about the importance of giving and being thankful for the things that we have. We made gift boxes, filling them with chocolates and then chose a special person to give them to.

We talked about what we were thankful for:

Logan - I am thankful for everything that I have.

Aaron - I am thankful for my family.

Ryan - I am thankful that we have Mr Maudsley to help us in class.

Steven - I am thankful for my friends.
