Well Done 11G in taking part in Internet Safety Day. We first of all discussed what we use the internet for; most us use it for games, listening to music or watching our favourite programmes. Under the heading internet safety, we then choose 6 pictures or photographs from the internet, and imported them into a poster on book creator. We each created our own safety posters by adding colourful backgrounds and speech bubble captions. Next we used the bluebots and learnt about programming and debugging. Using a 2 x 2 grids we practiced moving the robots to different points. We used a rainforest bluebot mat to navigate to the different animals that we have been learning about in class this last week. Next we talked about safe and unsafe adults and finally we created our own online class promises videos. We had such a busy day but managed to fit in some mindfulness meditation at the end of the day using Youtube on our fabulous white smartboard.
