Today in school it was safer internet day!
In Willow class we looked at staying safe by thinking about what apps and websites we can trust plus who we can trust to share our personal information with.
We talked about what information is personal and shouldn’t be put on the internet, sorting information safe to share and things to only tell our families. We then looked at how different websites don’t always tell the truth and not everything is a fact, plus different reasons why things are put on the internet.
Grace and Sonny looked at their own internet use and looked at Hacker dog’s online posts to think of why he posted them. They were then given “facts” from the internet and used iPad to double check using reliable websites to see if they were true.
Joseph and Miss Riley explored the class ipad to see what safe apps we have that can be fun. We looked at apps we can use to help us with maths and spelling, then for fun. We also looked at staying safe on the CBeebies website.
Willow learners at home have some work set on purple mash that we can’t wait to see!
Good work Willow class!
