What an exciting week we’ve had in 8G.

The first excitement was when our friends, who have been learning from home, returned to school on Monday. It was fantastic to see Eshan, Tyler, Jacob and Harry back in our classroom - we can’t believe how much they’ve all grown though.
Everyone has done lots of brilliant work this week - and the best bit has been the science experiment where we made lava lamps. We put oil, water and food colouring in plastic bottles, then added a soluble vitamin tablet. Everyone was mesmerised as they watched the coloured bubbles rise and fall inside the bottles. It was really exciting when some of them bubbled so much that the foam spilled over the top of the bottle. We shone a torch underneath the bottles so we could see the fantastic chemical reaction even better.

We’ve also been very busy making some top secret crafts - we’ll be bringing these things home ready for a special event on Sunday. We finished off our week with a party to celebrate Ambar’s birthday which was last weekend, and Ty’s birthday which is this weekend. We enjoyed playing party games and eating birthday cake.
