This week we have enjoyed our last week together.

On Wednesday we went to Astley Park and spent some time on the park equipment - Mrs Clarke went down the slide and Miss Zara had a go in the zip wire.  It was great to be out in the sunshine spending quality time with our friends.

We walked through the park to the Astley Pub and had some lunch sat outside in the sunshine. We sat with our friends, relaxed and chatted. It was a lovely way to spend Wednesday.

On Thursday we enjoyed some free time, ice cream and celebration assembly.

Our stars of the week this week are Rebecca for being an important and valued member of 9R. being kind, caring and a friend who can be relied on and trusted. Always trying your best and for just being you - we are so proud of you.

Class 9R - for having an amazing year, coping with lots of ups and downs and dealing with these changes sensibly. For being a class who can rely on each other for support and friendship - we are so proud of each of you.

House of the half term was Hufflepuff.

They had 20 more house points than the other teams - this was because when given a choice between a star for themselves or a house point for the team they chose a house point - great teamwork Hufflepuff.

We are saying a goodbye to Miss Zara who has been with the class since class 7 as she embarks on a new journey training to be a nurse - we will miss her but we know she will make a brilliant nurse.

We are also saying goodbye to Mrs Bigio who is moving onto a new school to work in early years - we will miss her and wish her lots of luck.

Well done 9R you have had the most amazing year, you have all worked your socks off, looked out for each other and dealt with some difficult situations sensibly and with a smile.

The 9R staff team are very proud of each and every one of you and wish you lots of luck as you move into Year 10.

Have a great summer holidays and stay safe.
