What a fantastic first day!! We arrived at the Anderton Centre at 1pm, checked in and most importantly, made up our own beds. It was great to see the students helping each other with this. Next we had a walk around the centre so we have a good idea as to where everything is; we met our visit leaders, Savannah and Robin. Time for our first activity - eased in gently with the low ropes. The students had a great time and although some of the ropes were quite challenging, everyone had a go and pushed themselves to see what they could do. Next we had some team building games including gutter ball which was great fun. The students excelled at communicating with each other throughout the afternoon to achieve the tasks set. 

Tea is going to be followed by the Anderton Challenge this evening followed by showers, down time and finally bed. We are looking forward to tomorrow's activities which include crate stack and tree climb in the morning followed by SUP XL (a huge paddle board that can take lots of people) in the afternoon.

We can't wait!!!
