9G have been so busy this week! From doing all of our super work to learning about Children in Need to thinking all about Remembrance day.
We started our week off by talking all about our weekend. We were very excited to hear about everyone’s weekend and all the different things they did for bonfire night. After this we used our super hand writing skills to do some really good writing all about our weekends. Miss Brophy was super impressed with all of our work!
On Tuesday we used our brains super well to do loads of exciting maths work! We are going to be making some of our very own potions very soon so decided that we would do some work about capacity. We looked at the words, full, half full and empty and used them to describe the different containers we were looking at. Then we worked as a group to answer some tricky questions which we all did really well in!
Wednesday was a really important day as it was our children in need day! Lots of us came in dressed up in Pudsey Bear outfits and looked super cool! During our morning we baked some fabulous cakes with Mrs Mahood and on Wednesday afternoon we did some super art work and made some very own face masks of Pudsey Bear!
On Thursday we all knew that it was a really important day because it was Remembrance Day. We talked all about Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday. Harry knew that Remembrance Day was today because it was the 11th! So at 11 o’clock we did our minutes silence and everybody did soooo well! We were all so impressed. We also did lots of good Remembrance Day art work. We used our colouring skills to make some nice poppies and then got a bit creative and made some poppies that were all different colours.
On Friday we had non-uniform day and came in wearing our super snazzy clothes. We also brought loads of yummy chocolates in to give to Mr Welsh for our Christmas bingo.
We have our PE lessons on a Friday and this week we did some yoga all about Harry Potter! We loved listening to the story while learning all the new yoga moves the lady was teaching us! We all joined in really well and you’ll see in our pictures what we learnt.
During our afternoon we had our golden time which we had worked really hard all week for. Then we listened to Mr Welsh for our celebration assembly.
We hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
