On Tuesday we celebrated St Andrew’s day in remembrance of Scotland’s patron saint who was known for helping the less fortunate.

Miss Howarth did an attention autism, from the bucket she pulled out a whoopee cushion which made a noise a bit like a bag pipe when sat on. Next we watched a video with lots of Scottish music, people playing bagpipes and wearing kilts. Miss Howarth then showed us a black and white Scottish flag, which she then painted the corners in with blue paint.

Once we got busy we all took it in turns to paint our own Scottish flag with blue paint. We even had our own Scottish flag sensory tray with blue spaghetti to explore. The Scottish flag was chosen in honour of St Andrew.
