Willow class have had an exciting couple of weeks gearing up to Christmas. The children have enjoyed some festive themed work creating clay Christmas magnets to finish off our science topic, working on our sentence structures writing letters to Santa and Christmas cards to friends and family.  In my Community we  looked at the concepts of kindness and giving in my community discussing the gift of giving and making presents to give to loved ones in addition to making some lovely holiday cards for our school councillors to deliver to a local care home.
The children did exceptionally well to work together and come up with a plot for our part of the Christmas play- an adaptation of ‘Santa Claus’. The children all chose the kind of character they wanted to be and their part in the plot, we hope you like our version it was a lot of fun to film!

We have had some special events such as Christmas dinner in class, a Christmas party, visits from Santa via teams and even some special visitors- Alpacas! Please have a look through some of our fun moments.
