What a great couple of days we’ve had this week in our Holiday Heroes club!
On Tuesday, all our younger children went on a trip to a play centre - everyone had a great time climbing up and sliding down the play frame as well as exploring the toys, vehicles and role play. Then everyone sat down for a tasty snack of waffles, pancakes and fresh fruit - it was delicious. We came back to school in time for lunch, then it was time for our older group to go on a trip to Gator Golf. Everyone showed off some terrific golfing skills as they managed to negotiate the route around all the tricky obstacles to pot their balls. There was some fantastic turn-taking as everyone waited patiently for their turn. One student even managed a couple of “holes in one!” It was Amir’s 9th birthday so back at school everyone in his group sang "Happy Birthday" and had a piece of his birthday cake.
On Thursday, we had a bouncy castle in the school hall. All the groups took turns to go and bounce on it throughout the day. We also had fun on the new playground, the climbing frame, the bikes and some craft activities.
Thank you to all the staff who made it possible for our Holiday Club to take place.
