This Friday was very exciting for the older primary children- we had a joint golden time in the hall!
Children from Willow, Sycamore and Rowan have been thinking about the transition to high school (or our friends transitions while we get some new friends in class) so we were all very excited to spend some time with children the same age as us from different classes who we might share a class with next year! Two pupils joined us from different schools who will be joining Astley Park in September and all the Astley Park children were such good friends asking them to play or join for a chat. 
 

Miss Riley, Miss Molloy and Mrs Down are all so proud of our children demonstrating our school values- kindness and respect- when they were playing with everyone! We hope to run more of these transition sessions to build on these fantastic friendships ready for September and new classes! Thankyou Miss Molloy for setting up such a fun afternoon for everyone.
