This afternoon we have had our transition afternoon with new staff who will be with 9G when they become 10G in September.

Mrs Fisher led the session where we were introduced to Zones of Regulation which will be replacing the ALERT programme that we currently use in class. We looked at the different coloured zones and sorted emojis of emotions into which zone they fit into. We had lots of good discussions about our feelings and talked about how the ALERT programme fits nicely into the Zones of Regulation too.

Then to finish off the afternoon, we all took part in a Kahoot! quiz on our iPads. The questions were all about the new 10G staff so that we could all get to know each other a bit better. Pupils needed to answer if something was true or false about a member of staff, and then choose the correct member of staff that matched the statement on the board. Well done to Miss Bibby and Miss Grant who pipped everyone to the post and came in 1st place!
