Good afternoon 8A fans and families!

Wow what another busy week we have had.  Lets start by celebrating our Star of the Week - Olivia!
Olivia showed great teamwork skills across the week and real leadership skills in our life skills lesson today.  Olivia showed she could delegate tasks effectively and also work hard as her group made chocolate brownies with no adult support! 

Thank you to the families of 8A for denoting money in our ‘jeans for genes’ day at school. All the pupils enjoyed coming to school in their own clothes and helped raise money for this excellent charity.

This week we have also continued to develop our netball skills in our Me and My Body/PE lessons, explored the concept of magnets by sorting objects into magnetic and non-magnetic groups and developed our writing skills by describing superhero’s when making mind maps and character fact files. We also managed two trips into the community to practice our shopping skills! 

What a great start we are having!
