What have Beech Class been getting up to for the past 2 weeks I hear you ask?! ….. Well we will tell you!!!
We have looked at ‘big and little’ using different size animals, carefully constructing towers, and building sandcastles. We have enjoyed the outdoors and had nature trays in class containing leaves, conkers, soil and sticks to explore. Every morning we have enjoyed ‘What’s in the Box’ where we have watched lots of exciting stage 2 activities such as flowerpot foam, sandcastle splat, flour people, and 5 currant buns. We have also used our fine motor skills to practise our mark making - in glitter, using felt tips, swirling paintbrushes and experimenting with stamps.
Today, Beech Class are giving racism the red card. We have had a red themed sensory tray to explore and we were able to wear our own red clothes to school.
Our first half term in Beech Class has been wonderful. We have built relationships, found friendships, grown in confidence and had so much fun. Beech Class definitely deserve a holiday and we can’t wait to be back together next half term.
You’re all superstars!!!
