Tom and Gary from Chorley sports partnership came into school to work with 11G on playground leadership and Mr Murphy kindly let 7A have a session with them.
We all sat listened to Tom telling us what we were going to be doing.

Our first game was the Traffic light game- this was teaching us to keep our heads up whilst moving around the hall and look at the colour beanbag, red, yellow or green, that Tom was holding as to whether we ran, walked or stopped.

Next was Heads, shoulders, knees and cone. In this game we had a partner and we had to do the actions Tom shouted out, when he said cone it was the quickest to pick up the cone that won. We absolutely loved this game and showed just how fast we can be.

Duck duck goose was a favourite and people had to listen very carefully as when it came to you if you heard the word ‘goose’ it was time to run!!

Another game was Body parts where we had to jog around the hall and one person called out a body part eg hands, elbows or knees  and then you had to find a partner and touch partners hand, elbow or kneee depending on what was shouted.

Atoms was the final game, (phew as we were very tired now), a person gave instructions of an action then if the word atom was shouted we had to find a spot and stand still.

7A had a great morning and would like to say a massive thank you to Mr Murphy, Tom and Gary but now we are off for a lie down!!
