11R does Performing Arts at Preston College

Wow! What an amazing lesson we had at Preston College today!
We found our way to the studio- passing quite a few familiar faces (past Astley Park pupils) on the way!

Sarah our tutor certainly put us through our paces- after a warm up, were we stretched our muscles, we performed a quick Zumba routine- played some really fun games, remembering the rules got quite tricky but we all had a really good laugh- especially at Boppety bop bop bop, Elephant and Jelly!
Then in teams Sarah asked us to become household items- a toaster, a microwave oven and an alarm clock- it was such fun.

Our final game was a little bit like ‘Chinese Whispers’ but using mime actions- we all did really well- and guessed what the action was!
