This week we have been celebrating friendship week. We have been talking about what it means to be a friend and have discussed the different qualities that each of us have.
On Monday this week we wore odd socks to show that everyone is different. The learners in class designed and coloured their own odd socks, expressing their individuality. They were all so colourful and each one was different.
In class we learnt about what a compliment is - saying something nice to someone. The learners took it in turns to give their friends a compliment, it was lovely. The whole class agreed that they felt happy when they had given and received a compliment.
We have been making bacon butties again this week to make money for our prom. We really look forward to Fridays for our bacon butties in class (and I’m sure all the staff do too!) yum! The learners in class have been taking it in turns to cook, butter the buns and deliver the sandwiches to staff around the school.
