This week we were pleased to welcome our new Teaching Assistant, Mr Staziker, to our class team.
We have had a very busy week! A big thank you goes out to our wonderful families for providing early childhood photos for our Brilliant Bodies lesson about growing up - this really helped us to understand how our bodies develop and change as we grow up. We also had a delicious pancake themed bucket time with Mrs Hand this week.
We have also been looking at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl for World Book Day this week. Some of our learners drew Augustus Gloop based on the author’s description. We also channelled our inner Willy Wonka and designed our own chocolate creations. We let these set in the fridge overnight then sampled them the next day - you probably noticed that there were no leftovers to send home because the learners all LOVED their creations. We all agreed that Mr Wonka would be very happy to employ us in his chocolate factory on his product development team!
