This term Beech class have been exploring our theme “journeys”.
We started with Mrs Barrand telling us the story “We’re going on a bear hunt” in attention autism before exploring the obstacles ourselves in trays! We stomped through the wavy grass, stepped carefully through the twigs, squelched through the mud, splashed through the water, and tiptoed through the snow. Thankfully we didn’t bump into any bears!
We have also had lots of fun exploring lots of different modes of transport including cars, planes, and trains! We’ve painted some lovely pictures, explored lots of sensory trays, and played with cause and effect toys. This week we pretended to be builders and explored the diggers, building blocks, and construction tools.
