9A had their first Share Our Learning event of the Summer term this week!
We had Josh’s mum and Daniel’s mum visit us.
The pupils started off by performing their sensory regulation carousels.
They enjoyed showing the parents how to use the resources. Josh even used the head massager on his mum’s head!
We then started our lesson - learning about National Poetry Month. We were celebrating late as this was in April. 9A listened to a short main teaching about National Poetry Month by Miss Buck and then we performed 3 carousels of activities linked to Poetry: identifying repetition and rhyme, as well as adapting our own poems using adjectives and adverbs to uplevel our writing.
Well done 9A, you did amazing! And thank you so much to the parents who visited us.
