8P have had another fantastic week!

In our music lesson this week we have been learning about musical notes. We learnt all about crochets and quavers ( not the cheesy crisps)

We watched a video called ‘Music with Meg’. She talked about beats and showed us what they looked like and clapped out the beat. We learnt that to remember the beats we could use the words ‘fly’ for the crotchet and ‘spider’ for quaver.

She the put some beats upon the screen and asked us to see if we could clap out the notes. 8P did a fantastic job and could clap out the beats and even made up some of their own clapping/word combinations. 8P can’t wait to show Mrs Mahood next week!!

After we had watched the video we made our own notes out of playdoh.

8P have also worked very hard during their ‘My thinking and problem solving’ lesson this week.

They have worked on number formation, addition, number sorting and maths games on Purple Mash and Education City.

Well done 8P, all the staff in class are very proud of you all.
