8A on how to make the world in 7 days.

 

This term 8A will be learning all about beginnings and endings. Today, 8A looked how our world was created. We did explain at the start of this topic that different religions believe in different scenarios as to how the world was created, and the aspect that we were focusing on today was the beginning of time that is believed by the Christian’s.

 

The class looked at a PowerPoint that explained what happened every day when the Earth was created. We looked at what God created each day. On the first day god created light. On the second day he created the sky. On the third day he created the land, trees and plants. On the fourth day he created the sun, moon and stars. On the fifth day he created the birds and sea animals. On the sixth day god created the other  animals, Adam and Eve. On the seventh day God rested.

 

The class, after doing good looking and listening of the PowerPoint, they then sequenced the story they had just read, numbered the days of the pictures correctly and wrote sentences about each day using the word mats to help them.
