Mental Health week in 8A

 

It was lovely to see 8A learners in school on Monday, wearing green to celebrate Mental Health week . 

This Mental Health week, we are focusing on “My Voice Matters'”, and the class has had several chats, explaining that there are different ways the learners can share their thoughts, worries and opinions. 

We have also done some lovely activities, such as Mindful Colouring, Meditation and listening to calm music. 

We also watched a Mindfulness PowerPoint on our thought and worries. The PowerPoint talked about lots of thoughts that sometimes turn into worries. Doing slow deep breathing and blowing thoughts away that might be worrying us. It’s also good to talk about any worries, doesn’t matter how small.
