World book day in 8A

Thursday was World Book Day at Astley Park School and 8A joined in with the fun.

We had Black Panther, Harry Potter, Cat Women, Incredible Hulk, a Police person just naming a few.

Even staff joined in. (Ms Carter was wearing her Captain Carter cape).

We then went into the hall where we joined another class. There were two superhero’s who delivered a fun activity. There were capes and masks we could all wear. Firstly, the learners had to walk around the hall, pretending to be different superhero’s with different powers.

We then joined in making a magic potion using a parachute and small colourful balls to make us have super hero powers. What great fun we had.

Back in class 8A had instructions to follow to make a Superhero Jar. They had to add soap, paint, glitter and warm water to a jar. When all the ingredients were in the jar, they had to tightly screw on the top and shake. Staff did help with this part as we didn’t want the superhero poison spilling and getting into the wrong hands.

8A, you are all superhero’s.
