This week we finally finished our letters to Joe Wicks, telling him all about our Healthy Living topic and asking him questions about his favourite food and exercise. We posted them off and have already had a reply from one of his team to say he has received our letters and will reply as soon as he can! How exciting!

We continued with our number work in maths, using it in our weekly visit to the supermarket on Tuesday. We visited the market again, as we needed fresh beetroot. We bought the rest of our ingredients at Asda, upping the recipe for our beetroot brownies so we could make some for Macmillan coffee morning.

On Thursday morning we made a class favourite - the beetroot brownie! Everyone chipped in to make these, as we were making more for the coffee morning! In the afternoon, we continued with hockey. This week we were learning to pass to our team mates, whilst on the move. Lots of things to think about but everyone improved in the lesson and could even manage getting around defenders! Great work!

Friday morning was a little chaotic to say the least - we ended up with only 5 learners in class, so we headed to the coffee morning to support 11A. It was great to be a part of something for charity - and the cake was an added bonus! In the afternoon we had golden time and celebration assembly. This week's star of the week is Teegan for fantastic effort in maths and speaking up when she knew the answer! Well done Teegan!
