There has been lots of activities and fun going on in 9A recently. In Science everyone built a circuit using a battery, wires and a bulb. Everyone gave it a go worked and so hard and did a great job of lighting up the bulb.
In Maths we played turn taking games with a partner, where we had to solve the sum to be able to move on around the board.
Everyone had a great time playing on the bikes and scooters, staff were so impressed how everyone joined in and took their turn sharing. After a warm up in the football cage there were lots of circuits around the track completed, so we had some very tired young people at the end of the session.
We have been carrying on with our zones and feelings work outside, by deciding what zone we would be in and how we would feel in different situations. We have also played some games in the hall when friends had to give each other instructions and had to follow them, we saw some very impressive ‘press ups’.
Everyone enjoyed spending their money on lots of cake at the MacMillan coffee morning, all for a very good cause. After this we all had some fresh air and enjoyed using the equipment on the playground on a lovely sunny day, which had everyone smiling.
At the end of the week we had class circle time, which was brilliant! Everyone waited for their turn to speak and to listen to their friends talking about our classroom promises.
Have a good weekend everyone !
