Beech Class have had a lovely week 5 exploring the colour red! Learning about the little red hen laying her eggs.
Throughout our continuous provision we’ve had fun exploring sensory trays filled with sand, glitter and straw!! In our outdoor tray we had dinosaurs surrounded by red lava sand! We’ve also done lots of mark making and printing activities, with shapes and red paint!
During attention autism we’ve enjoyed watching Mrs Barrand roll the little red hens eggs, filled with glitter, paint and sand. We’ve also watched Mrs Barrand make some red playdoh, which we had fun squeezing and squashing afterwards. Mrs Barrand also chopped some red fruit and veg, we even got to chop and taste some ourselves!!
Friday we celebrated Zack’s birthday with chocolates! A week filled with fun!
Have a fantastic weekend :)
