Wow what a lovely, fun filled half term we have had in beech class.

To end our ‘colours’ topic, this week we explored all things black and white. During our continuous provision, we enjoyed exploring black and white animals in different sensory materials including sand, ice and foam. We also enjoyed reading all about the animals, making a snowman and using our mark making skills to paint with different tools.

Throughout our attention autism sessions, we watched Mrs Barrand make different patterns in foam and paint, make a skeleton using different shapes and enjoyed watching a flour shake.

We have all settled in really well and are now getting used to our routines and taking turns with our peers. We have all done amazing communication to request our snacks and favourite toys/activities. Our teachers are so proud of how much progress we are already making.

Have a well rested week and we will see you after half term for our ‘once upon a rhyme’ topic.
