This week has been a very busy week for the children in 8P.

This week we started off by sharing our weekend news, discussing what everyone has been up to over the weekend. We then looked at some ‘picture news’ looking at news through photos. This week we learned about what is good to watch online, and what type of videos would be more educational and able to help us learn better. 

The children have enjoyed a community visit to the pet shop this week. Miss Davenport gave us all a check list of different animals to look for in the pet shop. The children along with their adults made their way around the pet shop and looked for the specific animals from the list. Once we found the animal, we ticked them off. It was super exciting looking at all the very cute animals. 

The children have worked really hard in P.E and kept their bodies moving! We have done some work on different patterns, what patterns we see day to day and where we could find other patterns. 

Swimming this week has been great, all the children have been going above and beyond to try their hardest. We definitely have some super swimmers on our hands in 8P! 

We have done some work on Martin Luther King, who was an incredible man. We watched a video about all that he did and coloured in some lovely pictures of him.
