What a fabulous week we’ve had to the start of spring 2. This term beech have become pirates!
We have had so much fun exploring all things pirate and sea themed tuff trays, finding hidden treasure, having a go at walking across the plank and loved dressing up!
During attention autism, we watched our teachers create pirate hats, dig for hidden treasure, listened to a sensory song of ‘over the deep blue sea’ and used the magnets to pick up the silver.
We then had a turn at making our own hats and enjoyed copying the sounds and actions made by pirates. Some of even go to go on our own treasure hunt around the school playground and we were very lucky to find some real chocolate treasure!
We have also done some amazing maths work, worked on our communication skills and enjoyed playing outside in the sun and rain.
Have a lovely weekend my fellow pirates and we will see you Monday for another busy week.
