Welcome back Chestnut Class! Wow what an amazing start back at school. We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring our new theme ‘Summer holiday’ through using sand to build the biggest sand castles and practicing our fine motor skills by carefully filling up different size bottles with water. There have been lots of activities to help keep us busy, including sand castle puzzles, story books and hand print painting.
We have demonstrated excellent sharing and turn taking with our friends in Chestnut Class during our Sensology sessions. Our favourite part was spraying our friends with water as they held the big umbrella and singing ‘it’s raining, it’s pouring’. During our ‘what’s in the box’ session, we had a lot of fun helping Miss Seddon to make a shaving foam sun, sprinkling orange glitter and using a wooden spoon to SPLAT… We also got to go to the park, where we went on the swing, the climbing frame and used the sand pit!
We have done a great job at settling back into our routine. Well done Chestnut Class!
