Chestnut Class have had a week of Valentine’s Day celebrations, we have explored lots of different sensory activities related to love and Valentines Day. We have made biscuits and cards and yesterday we engaged with a Valentines themed Attention Autism.
To celebrate rainbow day chestnut class dressed in brightly coloured clothes and collages pictures of rainbows. We also had lots of brightly coloured sensory activities to explore.

Chestnut had a trip out to Ashurst Country Park. It was a bit wet and windy but we still had a great time!
Some of us loved the preteens pirate ship and were playing pirates.
We went for a woodland walk, splashed in muddy puddles and found the Gruffalo!
Chestnut Class have had a lovely morning, we had breakfast in the hall which was yummy!
Our special visitor then came into class to see us and he brought us all a present - it was very exciting and we are all feeling very festive !

Chestnut Class engaged with a remembrance day attention autism and then all created their own red poppy. We cut them out and stuck them together to make a big poppy wreath :)

Chestnut Class shave learnt about Diwali this week, we listened to a song which told us how Hindus celebrate Diwali and then decorated Diwali candles for the festival of light.
