Hotpot making in 10A
On Thursday afternoon it was one of 10As favourite activities, Food Tech.
Previously, the class voted what they wanted to make and they agreed this week would be Hotpot.
Some of the learners looked up a hotpot recipe and wrote this down so we knew what ingredients we would need to make it.
They all followed a step by step recipe. They showed amazing teamwork in food tech when peeling and chopping the chosen vegetables, which were potatoes, carrots, onions and peppers.
The learners all took turns when browning off the mince meat on the hob. They also did brilliant measuring of the stock liquid.
We hope you all enjoy the sample of the hotpot you received in your tubs.
It smelt delicious and lots of staff members commented on the lovely smell coming from the food tech room.
