This week we have been exploring animals in Maple class. We have explored our 5 senses during a zoo themed sensology, enjoyed our ‘Dear Zoo’ sensory story and also sat and engaged in an animal themed attention autism. We each had a turn making a lion’s mane with our handprints and practised mixing 2 primary colours to make a secondary colour. We have been working very hard on our communication, using communication boards during daily activities and some of us working on using our PECS book more frequently throughout the day. Well done Maple class, you have all worked very hard.
