During the month of December, 7R have been focusing on the Christian celebration, Christmas. We read the nativity story and wrote about it and then we thought about why Christians celebrate Christmas. We said it was because it is Jesus’ birthday and we give presents like the wise men give presents to Jesus. We learnt about how Christmas is celebrated across the world and wrote about how we celebrate Christmas in England. We produced some fantastic written work and have made some lovely Christmas decorations and pegboard patterns too as part of our Christmas activities. We have also found out that other people celebrate Christmas, not just Christians. Great work 7R.
