Hello everyone,

Miss Cross, Miss Woods and Mrs Banks have been very busy working from home we have got a week behind with our weekly blogs – oh no! Let’s have a catch up and see what everyone did last week.

Week 5’s Learning from Home:

  • Ethan has been working very hard with his numbers and his counting. On Monday Miss Cross set Ethan, a challenge and asked him if he could count past 59. On Tuesday Ethan set to the challenge with his Mum and has worked very hard all week counting with objects and without! Ethan has also been busy working with his numbers to solve problems. He also made another fantastic model of his favourite toy using Lego – just look at the picture below. Great work Ethan!

  • Ellie has had another busy week at home. She has been enjoying the sun and exploring more outside on daily walks – she took her new Mr Tumble bag on a walk and carried it for 4.8 miles! Wow! She has also been working hard with her physical skills; throwing and catching. Ellie even completed our Easter challenge and took a photo on her iPad of her chocolate bunny. Fantastic work Ellie!

  • Josh has been working very hard on purple mash, education city, practicing writing his letters and numbers and has made bread and pizza bases – the bread looks very yummy! Josh has been playing with Noah and they have both helped Daddy in the garden and watering herbs. Super work Josh!

  • Over the past few weeks learning from home Mia has been having lots of fun with her family. She started helping mummy do cooking and baking and more recently has been out in the garden planting vegetables. Mia told Miss Cross she has planted potatoes, tomatoes and carrots, like from our story Supertato! Mia has also been working hard using the toilet with more independence – Your teachers are very proud of you for all your hard work – Way to go Mia!

  • This week Oliver has enjoyed building lots of jigsaws and having some down time around learning with Mummy. Oliver took his own pictures and wrote his own email to Miss Cross – Well done Oliver.

  • Tig has been busy practicing his fine motor skills using playdough to warm up his fingers, tracing shapes and writing in his sugar tray. He has been keeping busy choosing to colour in pictures and helping mummy with jobs in the house – he has even helped make a cake for his brothers’ birthday. Great work Tig!

  • Oscar had a busy week enjoying the sunny weather with lots of outside play. He has also enjoyed making lunch, practicing using scissors, blowing bubbles, playdough gym, cutting fruit, writing numbers and building a cheerio tower. Wonderful work Oscar!

I would also like to give a huge well done to our Star of the Week, Mia! We are very proud of you for working hard at home, planting vegetables in the garden and using the toilet with more independence! What a superstar! Your teachers are very proud!
