Yesterday the children in Chestnut Class had a fun afternoon creating animal prints.
After watching Mrs Smith do an animal themed ‘What’s in the Box’ the children then used different animals and paint to make footprints on their paper. They then experimented using different shapes to create a picture of an animal, finishing it off by painting in the lines to make it nice and colourful. I can see some fantastic pig paintings! Great work!!
At home, Scarlett has been working hard on the 6 star challenge. She did over 100 star jumps, made her Mummy a drink, went on a walk to count how many dogs she could see and found a lovely, soft bird feather. To relax after all that hard work, Scarlett did some mindfulness colouring and filled in an ‘All about Me’ sheet for her future self. Scarlett has received her gold certificate for completing all 6 challenges. Great work!!
Noah from Chestnut Class also had some lovely news to share with us ….. He has become a very proud big brother!! He has a new baby sister called Elsie May. Noah’s Mummy has said that Noah has been an absolute superstar at home, helping look after Elsie and even pushing the pram!
Please keep sending me all your photos,
Have a lovely weekend and stay safe J
