Happy Thursday! As part of our "Our World" theme, 7A have been thinking about autumn today. We took part in an autumn yoga story where we thought about leaves falling off trees, harvest time, hibernation and rainy days. We then took part in an autumn themed attention autism. For stage 1, we practiced our new "bucket time rap" and Mrs Crouch hooked our attention using motivating toy animals that hibernate such as a bear that shot a ball from his mouth when he was given a squeeze and a jumping frog. During stage 2, we watched Mrs Crouch squirt paint to make a tree trunk then we added autumn leaves to the tree using a hand splat technique for stage 3. We were then given the task of creating our own autumn tree during stage 4. It was lots of fun but very messy!

Today we have also been thinking about what we like and we used Pic Collage on our individual iPads to share with our friends some of our favourite things. We used our homework task about things we like to help prompt us to find thing to take photos of or to find images online. We airdropped our work to Mrs Crouch when we had finished. Well done 7A!

Tomorrow is Friday and we will be taking part in Circle Time activities to get to know each other even better, a video call Me and My Body workout with the learners at home and preparing the class for when both groups come together on Monday.
