What a wonderful winter week for Willow class!
We have continued our work on the story “a Christmas collar”, learnt more about Arctic animals in science and started practicing for our class play, making outfits and rehearsing.
We also worked really hard with our maths this week looking at shapes and their properties- special mention for our star of the week Hasan for his amazing knowledge of vertices. We even managed to squeeze in making some decorations and cards for winter too!
But most importantly... it snowed!!
On Friday it started snowing and we were all so excited! We decided to wrap up warm to go and play in the snow before coming in for some hot black currant squash to warm up! Everyone loved the snow and it was such a lovely surprise to end the week!
Have a lovely weekend everyone! See you next week for some special Christmas activities and looking at some different religions- Islam and Judaism- to see what special events they celebrate!
