Hi everyone, lovely to see some of you during last weeks class video call, both home learners and class learners are working really hard and beginning to learn lots about animals and their different habitats.

In class last week we had a fun attention autism session where we played with wind up penguins then we handled blocks of solid ice before melting them with warm water to retrieve the small plastic polar bears from inside.

We have spent lots of time looking at the Polar region and investigating which animals live there, how they keep warm, what they like to eat and where they sleep.
We will spend some more time working learning about the animals from the polar region and the different habitats before we move on to farm animals and eventually the rain forest.

We watched a live video from Paignton Zoo where the head keeper talked about habitats and then we also watched a video presented by David Attenborough, he was in the Polar region and it looked very cold.

Next week there is going to be a video uploaded showing us taking part in a Bollywood dance challenge. This is part of the six star challenge that we are taking part in ( we did a similar challenge last year ).
I do hope you manage to log on to watch the Bollywood dancing.

Our next class video call will be on Monday at 1.30pm and it would be so lovely to see as many as of you taking part as possible so that we can have a chat and catch up.

Take care and stay safe. Ms Lea.
